Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods is featured mostly in this post, with a quick trip to the seven falls. I wanted to take the cable car up to pikes peak and were pretty bummed when i found out that they were completely booked. But i think the drive up ended up being the highlight of the trip. Its scary, exciting and you can pull over whenever you want and go explore along the way. If you are not use to the altitude, beware that it does take a toll on you especially if you run around like us :) Do take a jacket.. at the top its pretty much freezing weather.
