We had a layover in Turkey on our way to South Africa, so i decided to make it an 3 day layover to go exploring. We did so much in only three days. Due to their very cheap domestic flights, we were able to fly to Cappadocia & Pammukale. Most people probably do not want to be on their feet for entire days but if you are going to be on a 24 hour flight afterwards, why not?? Turkey is absolutely breathtaking and a must on any travelers list.
