Salt Lake City

It was a rainy two days, but that did not stop us from exploring and having fun in the Capitol of Utah.

First stop we made was to the amazing Temple Square. I stumbled on some lovely pink cherry blossoms and could not get enough of them.

I use to live in Korea and as Spring time came around, all the sidewalks would be lined with cherry blossoms. Seeing these, made me long back to my Korean Living days and walking to to and from school every day. It's amazing how nature can brighten up your day.

I took way too many selfies... but it's soo hard to capture the actual beauty of these trees.

The whole temple square is covered in amazing landscape. A variety of colorful flowers are on display and truly makes this a holy experience. U can see how much pride they take in their grounds.

We must have walked by 3 weddings that were taking pictures at the temple and of course a million tourists. So i am extremely lucky to have been able to take a picture without anyone in it. The rain might have been on my side.

In Front of the State Capitol they have this lovely little walk way lined with cherry blossoms.

The inside is just as impressive as the outside if not more. Completely covered in marble with amazing staircases and pillars.

The walk around the Capitol is just as impressive. With the amazing building on your one side and the city views on the other. As you walk further around, the mountains become more visible and bigger along your otehr side of teh building.

Utah State Capitol has by far the best city and mountain views. Even though it was a rainy day, it opened up for a short period and this was still the view! I love how close to the mountains Salth Lake city is.
